Where to travel on your next holiday


If you haven’t decided yet where to spend your next holiday, then you should have in view the idea of travelling to Spain. This southern European country has many beautiful cities, antique places, relaxing islands and amazing coasts. It is much visited and whoever goes to Spain once, will surely come back, as Spain is the country where you will never get bored. Costa Almeria in one of the most popular coasts in this Iberian country; the landscapes here are breathtaking and the bars and pubs are open all night long.


A land of contrasts


Mojacar is a city right on Costa Almeria. It is a land where the traditions of many ancient nations, such as the Romans, the Moors or the Africans mingled. Visited by a large number of tourists annually, Mojacar is the land of all possibilities; here, the modern buildings are right next to the historical monuments. The two parts that comprise this wonderful land are the Mojacar Pueblo and the Mojacar Playa. On one hand, the rustic place is definitely Pueblo Mojacar; nature can be admired here, there are many gardens, trees and old houses; on the other hand, the modern part of Mojacar is the Mojacar Playa.


Why visit the historical areas?


In Mojacar Pueblo a lot of antique fountains can be admired; the best known is La Fuente Mora, built by the Moors. Plaza Nueva is the one which dominates this historical place; the narrow and cobbled streets with the coloured houses will catch your eye. Since you are here, visit the Santa Maria Church; its architectural style is unique and it houses some valuable paintings and icons.


Don’t forget about the Mojacar Playa


While in Mojacar Playa, you can find everything you need to enjoy your best holiday craving: the beaches are lovely, the sands are very clear and the panoramas are unique. One of the most popular beaches in Mojacar is Playa del Cantel, but it is not the only one; you can practice every water sport you wish here, as there are special places for that. Traditional dishes can be tasted here; bars, restaurants, pubs, cinemas, they are all gathered to offer you the best time ever!
